Happy Hour shoot wraps

The shoot for Happy Hour, Franz Müller's new comedy, has now finished. The film stars Simon Licht, Mehdi Nebbou and Alexander Hörbe as three German men who take a holiday in a cottage deep in the Irish countryside in a desperate attempt to overcome their mid-life crises. The film was shot on location in County Cork, Ireland, and North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Bernhard Keller was director of photography, the film is written and directed by Franz Müller.

Production Support for Happy Hour

GRINGO’s new German-Irish comedy Happy Hour has been awarded €200,000 in production support by the Film und MedienStiftung NRW. Written and directed by Franz Müller, and produced by GRINGO’s Sonja Ewers, Happy Hour tells the story of three German men who try to escape their mid-life crises by going on holiday deep in the Irish countryside. The shoot will take place in County Cork.
