The Film und Medienstiftung NRW has come on board Gringo's latest production, The 90 Minute War, with production financing to the tune of €200,000. Written and directed by Eyal Halfon, and co-produced with Assaf Amir of Norma Productions, The 90 Minute War is a comic mockumentary that tells the story of a new, original and only slight far-fetched solution to the Middle East conflict: a soccer match between Israel and Palestine... The winner gets the country; the loser leaves - forever. Shooting will begin in May 2014, with the film scheduled for completion by 2015.
